The Xavier Newswire is the independent student newspaper of Xavier University. We serve the 5,000 students of Xavier in addition to the faculty, staff, alumni, and local community. The newspaper covers campus news and events, Xavier athletics, the Cincinnati arts scene, and events in the Cincinnati area.
The Xavier Newswire is published on Wednesdays during the academic year except during holidays and exam periods.
Off-Campus Advertising Rates
The deadline to reserve advertising space for the next issue is the Friday prior to publication. Advertisements can be printed in color at an additional cost of $175. The following rates are valid for all local businesses:
- Full page – $300
- Half page – $175
- ¼ page – $75
- 8 1/2″ x 11″ inserts – $650
- Inserts accepted at $120.00 per thousand or $300 for 3,000 run
On-Campus Advertising Rates
The deadline to reserve advertising space for the next issue is the Friday prior to publication. Advertisements can be printed in color at an additional cost of $175. The following rates are valid for all Xavier-affiliated businesses and on-campus offices:

- Half page – $75
- ¼ page – $50

- Inserts accepted at $120.00 per thousand or $300 for 3,000 run
Student Advertising Rates
Student discounts are applicable for all Xavier students, clubs/organizations and independent student groups on Xavier’s campus. The deadline to reserve advertising space for the next issue is the Friday prior to publication. Advertisements can be printed in color at an additional cost of $120.

- 8 1/2″ x 11″ Inserts – $650

Social Media Advertising Rates
If placed, advertisements for social media will be shared on the official Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts of the Xavier Newswire. Advertisements can be reserved at any time, and will be posted within 48 hours of purchase.
