Annual student art show: Xavier Gallery displays vast array of student works

The Xavier University Art Gallery buzzed with the interest of nearly a hundred visitors throughout the night of the reception for the annual Student Art Show, which opened last Friday.

There was a good mix of students, teachers and friends of the Xavier community enjoying the show, and some artists even sold a few works to visiting patrons.

Some of the artists also answered questions and described their creative and technical processes to interested visitors.

With such excellent variety and quality, this is one of the best collections of Xavier student work in recent years.

The show will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the A.B. Cohen Center until February 7.
