I hope I am not the only one, but sometimes I catch myself daydreaming of the time when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were dating.
I remember “Beliebers” everywhere swooning over the latest released picture of the two not leaving any room for Jesus. The eight year-long on-and-off relationship left fans of “Jelena” yearning for more of the two canoodlers until the announcement was made in 2018 that they were officially done.
But those who still held onto hope will never forget the release of “Lose You To Love Me,” which was Gomez’s anthem to Bieber that solidified their relationship being done forever. Then, Bieber moved on Hailey Baldwin, which still has Jelena fans to this day upset and praying for their downfall.
Although they aren’t the only power couple that I wish was still dominating the game.
Next up on the list is none other than the secret lovers, CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron and CPO of Astronomer, Kristin Cabot found embracing one another amid the Coldplay concert in Massachusetts. I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to see their mom and mom’s boss being more than just “friends” on a huge jumbotron and later on the news headline. This was a big one for the Wattpad girlies who fein for boss x employee tropes.
Take me back to 2017, when season one of Riverdale was just released and girls everywhere were drooling over none other than the blue-eyed beauty, Cole Sprouse and his destined lover with just as piercing of blue eyes, Lili Reinhart. The real relationship only added to the chemistry seen throughout the show. Not to mention, their relationship gave young girls more content for their edits of Bughead! Who didn’t love that crusty, never washed beanie that he refused to take off.
Who would have thought Jughead has luscious hair underneath that crunchy beanie.
As for a recent break up, we have the bitter breakup between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump. What started quick and ended just as fast with the blow up of a century after Musk attacked Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” by calling it a “disgusting abomination.” But, I suspect that although this relationship is currently “off,” these two lovers will come together soon enough to reconcile their differences. They are meant to be like peanut butter and jelly, or Barack and Michelle.
Trump and Musk are currently on a break, but Americans have high hopes for a future “Tusk” kiss!
Although these couples are no longer, they will never be forgotten as their fierce love has left a lasting impact. From the hard-hitting lyrics of “Lose You to Love Me” to the jumbotron video seen by millions of the iconic co-worker and boss affair between Byron and Cabot, these lovers have left a lasting impact on romantics today.
