Cincinnati Pizza Week is a week-long event which took place from Monday, Nov. 10 through Sunday, Nov. 16. A special of $10 full pizzas was offered by all participating locations. A total of 31 pizzerias participated in this year’s Pizza Week.
The week also came complete with an app that pizza-tourists could download, where they would receive points for eating pizza. Customers who visited four or more locations were automatically entered in a competition to win one of $300 worth of gift cards.
Two featured restaurants part of the Pizza Week celebration were Goodfellas Pizzeria in Pleasant Ridge and The Works Pizza Co.
Located on the corner of Montgomery Road and Ridge Avenue, Goodfellas sits within the heart of a small area with many local shops and businesses. Entering off Montgomery Road, customers are met with pizza on the left and seating on the right. Pizzas are made and cooked New York style in front of the window for all to see, next to the entrance and the register.
Complete with full pies, calzones, breadsticks, craft beers and a variety of desserts, Goodfellas has something for everyone, including pizza by-the-slice. Their slices are so large that it needs two plates in order to carry it. Pizza by-the-slice begins at $4.50 a slice and is served directly out of the case, so customers can see what is available.
The Works Pizza Co is located on the second floor of the Tower, a collection of shopping and entertainment off to the side of Kenwood Town Centre mall. Upon entering, there is plenty of seating available, including a bar to the left with a dark mural of Great American Ballpark on the wall, home of the Cincinnati Reds.
Customers are able to sit themselves and are promptly met with a menu of multiple options. Three sizes of “brick oven” pizzas are available to enjoy. Options include small – perfect for sharing between two people – medium and large. The pizza at The Works is a more traditional style. Apart from pizza, The Works offers appetizers, pasta, sandwiches and a full drink menu.
Overall, Pizza Week 2025 was a fun opportunity for Cincinnati locals and visitors to get out and enjoy discounted pizza at participating locations.
