By: Nick McGill~Sports Editor~ The Xavier women’s basketball team has set out to serve young basketball players in the community. They are hosting the sixth annual “Girls Day Out” event on Sept. 14 at the Cintas Center. It serves as a one-day basketball camp for young girls to play basketball, learn skills and meet the players and coaching staff of the Musketeers. The clinic is held for girls in grades one through eight, and parents are invited to join them as Xavier players and coaches lead the activities and drills.
