Cincinnati moved up to No. 2 in this week’s Associated Press poll, marking a new best ranking in the program’s history. Tigers stun Crimson Tide in captivating National Title bout

By: Kyle Tooley ~Sports Editor~ After falling just short of a National Championship a season ago, the Clemson Tigers captured the 2017 College Playoff National Championship with a 35-31 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. The game seemed to be Alabama’s to lose in the early going, with Nick Saban’s squad jumping out to an early 14-0 lead behind the running of sophomore tailback Bo Scarbrough. Scarbrough left the game late in the third quarter, shifting the momentum to Clemson’s side. Alabama leads group of CFB Playoff teams; Buckeyes third

By: Donnie Menke ~Staff Writer~ The college football playoff bracket was revealed this past Sunday, and there was very little surprise as to how things shook out. Alabama ended up in the top spot, much like the entire season. At No. 2, Clemson jumped Ohio State after winning the ACC championship game against a ranked Virginia Tech team. Ohio State did not fall far, however, only dropping to the No. 3 spot. Finally, in the fourth spot are the Washington Huskies.
