They’ve been caught spying on opponents, deflating footballs and, to top it off, they’ve been pricks about it. The Patriots might be the most arrogant team in the NFL, but we can’t ignore their greatness. Similar to the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Antonio Spurs, the Patriots contend every year, yet they somehow manage to fly under the radar for the regular season. Xavier volleyball falls before Big East play begins

By: David Woeltz ~Staff Writer~ Xavier volleyball is preparing for Big East conference play after dropping a tightly contested match to No. 24 Kentucky at Cintas Center. The Musketeers fell in four sets (22-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-20) to the Wildcats on Sept. 18, as the neon-clad student section was not enough to turn the tide. The match was Xavier’s second straight against a ranked opponent, and the loss drops the Musketeers to 4-6 on the season. Bengals look to take next step and advance in January

It has been 24 long seasons since Cincinnati was able to capture a playoff victory, and after four straight first round exits, the team is ready to take the next step. Blame has shifted from head coach Marvin Lewis, who has kept the Bengals competitive, to quarterback Andy Dalton, who has put up an abysmal one passing touchdown to five interceptions in the playoffs.
