By: Robert Jamieson Xavier completed its home schedule over the weekend at Cintas Center with a pair of wins over Villanova and Georgetown. The two wins kept Xavier in the hunt for a possible share of the Big East regular season title with Marquette. The Musketeers will need to hope for some losses from the Golden Eagles for a tie for first place, however, as XU is still two games back in the Big East standings. Women’s volleyball falls in four sets to Marquette

By: Robert Jamieson Xavier opened up the weekend homestand against a struggling DePaul team with a three-set win (25-19, 25-9, 25-19), giving head coach Mike Johnson his 100th career victory and 78th at Xavier. This was one of Xavier’s best matches of the year with three nearly flawless sets. XU had an errorless first set, recording 17 kills and an impressive .654 hitting percentage en route to a 25-19 victory in the frame. XU women’s soccer clinches winning record

By: Danny O’Malley The Xavier women’s soccer team ended its season this past Saturday with a 2-0 win at Creighton, officially completing the year with a winning record of 9-8-1 and a low conference record of 2-7.
