Men’s Soccer draws twice

By: Kyle Tooley ~Sports Editor~ The Xavier men’s soccer team tied in both of its games over the long weekend, playing double- overtime contests against No. 12 Virginia and No. 16/24 Dartmouth. Both games finished with 1-1 final scores, pushing the Musketeers to 1-1-2 on the year. The contest in Blacksburg, Va. found all the action packed in a short period of time, with both the Musketeers and the Cavaliers scoring second-half goals within four minutes of each other. Men’s soccer to open with Evansville

The Musketeers open up the regular season on Friday, August 26, hosting Evansville at XU Soccer Complex, with first touch set for 7 p.m. With the start of the season right around the corner, it is time to preview the upcoming season. Musketeers prove successful in multiple sports

No sooner had students returned to campus for the fall semester than the men’s soccer team begam its season. Expectations were high for the Musketeers, entering the season ranked in the Top 25 and coming off a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA tournament.
