McCorvey became the center of the abortion rights movement when she became pregnant for a third time at 22 years old and was unmarried, unemployed and fighting for an abortion in 1969. She lived in Texas at the time, where abortion was illegal except for the case of saving the mother’s life. Bush and Barack Obama in attendance. His children, Donald, Jr., Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany and Barron and his wife, Melania, surrounded him during the event, which received an audience of roughly 30.6 million.
