By: Luke Feliciano ~Staff Writer~ The men’s and women’s tennis teams were both in action during the past week, playing in several different tournaments. On Jan. 22, the women’s tennis team took a road trip to Purdue in the opening match of the spring season. Despite two match victories, the Musketeers fell short of a victory losing by a score of five games to two. Senior Sydney Liggins and doubles partner sophomore Sophia Abelson won the match with two set victories of 6-3 and 6-4 while losing one game 4-6.
