The men’s team had been scheduled to play in four tournaments so far but have only seen two due to the “Snowpocalypse” that hit just south of us. However, the women’s team has made it to all four of their tournaments. The two tournaments that the men’s team attended were at No. 10 Ohio State, which they lost, and at home against Morehead State, which they won. Getting things started for the women’s team was the Miami (Ohio) Invitational on Sept. 12 and 13. Junior Sydney Liggins went through the weekend without a blemish in both singles and doubles competition, winning three singles matches to go along with three victories in the doubles portion with her teammate, sophomore Amina Ismail.
