By: Adam Purvis ~Guest Writer~ Xavier’s women’s soccer team played a drawn-out match that ended in a 0-0 tie after double-overtime against a senior-heavy team from Morehead State. The Muskies’ defense held the Morehead State Eagles to zero, even with the Eagles getting off 16 shots. Senior goalkeeper Katie Markesbury blocked a penalty save during the 79th minute, in order to keep the score tied while saving nine out of ten shots on goal.
