Former Assistant VP for Auxiliary Services Jude Kiah has stepped down from his position at XU to take a new job at Texas Christian University.

Jude Kiah suddenly stepped down from his role as Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services at Xavier on Jan. 2 to take a new job as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Texas Christian University (TCU).

During his five year period at Xavier, Kiah saw the university through several changes in the student experience, including the Day One textbook program, included laundry fees, Gallagher Student Center dining, the Pizza ATM and the switch from Coke to Pepsi.

Director of Auxiliary services Bill Moran has assumed some of the duties previously assigned to Kiah. The search for a permanent replacement is underway, according to Vice President for Financial Administration, Phil Chick.

“All of us here at Xavier are grateful for Jude’s service to the university, and we are sorry to see him leave,” Chick said.  “He was an excellent ambassador for Xavier University and our mission, and he led with a committed focus on providing innovative and top quality service to the entire campus community… We wish him nothing but the best.”
