January 27 SGA Meeting Recap

  • The following clubs were approved by the Senate to be full status clubs at Xavier: Exercise Science Club, XU Fishing Crew and XUFM.
  • The Senate Advisors reported that there are three open positions on the Student Organization Resource Fund (SORF) Board that need to be filled immediately to address impending SORF requests.
  • There is also one vacancy in the Senate that CPP, the Senate executive board, is currently working to fill.
  • Father Michael Graham, president, spoke to the senate in regards to the projects that the university should be seeing in the coming years. This includes the renovations to O’Connor Sports Center, the new residence hall, the possible expansion of Hoff Dining Commons, and others. For more information, read the article above.
