Women’s basketball honors seniors

By: Paul Fritschner ~Staff Writer~ The women’s basketball team is having an up-and-down season as it fights its way to a current 17-10 record. It is currently 8-8 in the Big East and has dropped four tough games since winning three straight. Two of those four losses came over this past weekend. The St. John’s Red Storm came to town for a Friday night tilt against the Musketeers at the Cintas Center. Baseball ready to spring into action

By: Paul Fritschner ~Staff Writer~ It may be below freezing outside with snow still left on the ground, but it’s just about time to stock up on Cracker Jack for baseball season. Xavier’s baseball team is looking to bounce back from a tough season in 2015. It won the Big East tournament and earned an NCAA tournament bid in 2014 but stumbled to a 15-38 record last season. The Musketeers 3-15 record in the Big East left them to settle as the caboose in the conference. Volleyball’s season ends in Big East Tourney

By: Adam Purvis ~Staff Writer~ Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break, but while we were stuffing our faces with turkey and football, the volleyball team ended its season last Friday during the Big East tournament against No. 2 seed Villanova. Leading up to the Big East tournament, Xavier continued its three win streak by defeating both DePaul and Marquette at home and ended its season by winning eight of its last ten matches.
