By: Isabel Smith ~Staff Writer~ As Brian Neal heads into his fourth season as head coach and sixth season overall with Xavier women’s basketball, he’s leading the process of building the women’s basketball team into a successful program. During his tenure as the Musketeers’ head coach, Neal has turned Xavier back into a winning team. It seems that with coach Brian Neal now able to firmly install his system in his second full season at the helm, the team is headed in the right direction. Preseason All-Big East selection Raeshaun Gaffney, the redshirt junior out of Fairfield, Ohio, is leading the way for the Musketeers, with 11.5 points per game (ppg).
