‘It’s the Bitch of Living’

By: Zenab Saeed ~Staff Writer~ Xavier University’s Theatre is preparing to stage its production of “Spring Awakening,” a rock musical that focuses on the lives of a group of students and their coming-of-age journeys. The Tony Award winning musical features music written by Duncan Sheik and is based on the 1891 German play of the same name. The musical will take place Theatre at 7:30 pm from April 16 to 19 in the Gallagher Student Center. ‘Starcatcher’ is humorous, but lacking

By: Griff Bludworth ~Staff Writer~ It is easy to feel as if theater demands either huge musical numbers or a profound stance on life to warrant its price of admission, especially at such a grand venue as Playhouse in the Park’s Marx Theater. The Playhouse’s production of “Peter and the Starcatcher” tries to subvert exactly these sentiments.
