Graham honored by Urban League

Father Michael Graham, president, was recognized by the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio (ULGSO) last Thursday for his commitment to the Cincinnati community during his tenure at Xavier.  The ULGSO honored Graham and five other figureheads in the region at their 27th Glorifying the Lions Ceremony. This annual event highlights leaders over the age of 65 who have distinguished themselves in their personal and professional lives. Convocation: Graham talks university’s future

He explained the still-developing Xavier Way initiative, the current budget issues facing Xavier and the university’s plan for tackling the future. XU moves up in U.S. News and World Report rankings

By: Tatum Hunter Xavier is the fourth best regional university in the Midwest, according to the U.S. News and World Report. Top Xavier administrators, however, don’t want the university to be defined by the numbers, or at least not by that number. While both University President, Fr.
