Men take gold, women take bronze in Big East Swimming

By: Jake Geiger, Staff Writer Xavier Swimming had outstanding performances this weekend at the Big East Championship, as the women finished third and the men won the team title for the third straight year, the sixth overall win in Xavier men’s swimming history. The women’s team capped the weekend with two third place finishes in the championship finals. Swimming teams jump in water

By: Paul Fritschner ~Staff Writer~ As students dove into their coursework this new school year, the Xavier swim team plunged into the pool to begin competing. First up for both the men and women was a visit to Butler to compete against the Bulldogs, as well as St. Louis, Evansville and Wright State. The meet went particularly well for the women, who took home first place among the five teams.
