Women’s soccer wins, improves to 4-0

By Will Pembroke, Show Manager Xavier’s women’s soccer team moved to 4-0 on the season with two impressive victories last weekend over Murray State University and archrival University of Cincinnati. Last Thursday, the Musketeers outdueled UC 1-0 on their home turf. “The hungrier team”: Women’s soccer looks to be the stronger team

By Jake Geiger, Staff Writer Xavier women’s soccer is looking forward to “hitting the ground running” when their season starts in August, according to Head Coach Nate Lie. “We’re just excited to get back on the field to make it right,” Lie said. Last season, the women’s team went 3-6 in an atypical spring season. WSOC hires Kacey White as new coach

By: Isabel Smith ~Staff Writer~ Xavier University Athletic Director Greg Christopher announced Kacey White as the new women’s soccer head coach in December. White replaces former head coach Woody Sherwood, who stepped down following the 2016 season after six years at the helm. White brings an impressive resume to the job, as she is a former member of the United States Women’s National Team. During her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina, White was a starting midfielder when the Tar Heels won the College Cup.
