Archbishop to visit Xavier’s Holy Hour

By: Maddie Day Archbishop Dennis Schnurr of the Cincinnati Archdiocese will visit Xavier this Friday for a night of worship and reflection. The event is sponsored by Life After Sunday, a student organization that works to integrate the Catholic faith in individuals’ daily lives and build the community. The club chose the name “Life After Sunday” as a way to remind students that partaking in the Catholic faith means more than just attending Sunday mass. Reflecting on the Church’s role in society

By: Taylor Fulkerson In Illinois last week, Bishop Paprocki of the Springfield Diocese announced that he plans to offer prayers for “exorcism in reparation for the sin of same-sex marriage” on Nov. 20 as Governor Patrick Quinn signs into law an act that legalizes marriage equality.
