By: Meredith Francis ~Campus News Editor~ President Barack Obama recently addressed a joint-session of Congress for his State of the Union speech. In the address, Obama set out his agenda for the remaining two years of his second term. Obama opened the speech with a discussion of the economy, claiming significant improvement in his presidency following the 2008 financial crisis. U.S. reaches agreement with India

By: Richard Meyer ~Copy Editor~ President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached an agreement that would allow U.S. firms to cooperate on civilian nuclear power plants in India. The deal also established an insurance pool in the case of an accident. The agreement comes after five years of struggling relations, which stemmed from a liability disagreement in nuclear arms.
