Analysis: Bengals’ key defensive improvements

By Jake Geiger, Staff writer The Cincinnati Bengals miracle season fell just short as they lost to the Los Angeles Rams 23-20 in the Super Bowl this past Sunday. Though they lost, there have been many positives this season. Bengals advance to Super Bowl LVI against LA

By Jake Geiger, Staff Writer The Cincinnati Bengals shocked the NFL landscape as they have reached their first Super Bowl since 1989.  All three playoff games came down to the final seconds. The Bengals defeated the Las Vegas Raiders with a game-winning interception at home in addition to two game-winning field goals against the Titans and the Chiefs on the road by rookie phenom Evan McPherson.  They now face the LA Rams at SoFi stadium in Los Angeles. Women’s tennis suffers an early blow

By Jake Geiger, Staff Writer Xavier women’s tennis team were handed their first defeat this season against Big Ten power Purdue after a 7-0 defeat. The Musketeers now move to 2-1 in the early season.  The Musketeers began play with one win and two losses in the doubles slate. The win came from the No. 2 doubles team as redshirt sophomore Kat Lyman and graduate student Anne-Sophie Courteau defeated Purdue 6-3.  Both of Xavier’s losses in doubles were tight matches.
