Pope Francis visits U.S., speaks to Congress

In the afternoon, Pope Francis held the Mass of Canonization of Junípero Serra at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Junípero Serra was a Spanish Franciscan friar who aided in colonizing California in the late 1700s and converted thousands of Native Americans to Catholicism. Big East schools to host networking and career event in New York City

On March 14, the Big East Career Consortium will be hosting the Big East Career Networking Event at the Madison Square Garden Bar and Grill in New York City during the Big East men’s basketball tournament.
