Student Government Association Meeting Recap – 9/10/2018

During a dinner with SGA Executives, Father Michael Graham, president, expressed interest in building a new residence hall on campus by 2020.

Elections for SGA Senators and SGA Executives will now take place in one day rather than over two days as they have in the past. Executive Elections will take place in October, and Senator Elections will take place in November.

Mental Health Awareness Week kicks off next week with “Meet the Resources” in Arrupe Overlook at 5 p.m. Students will be able to meet representatives from mental health resources available around campus. Pizza will be provided. SGA has planned events on Wednesday and Thursday as well.

It was announced on Sept. 11 that Xavier University Police Department’s Chief Daniel Hect is no longer working with Xavier.
