There is a new cast of celebrities waltzing onto the ballroom floor to test out their skills on season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars” (DWTS).
The cast has a wide variety of famous people such as Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin, Olympian Gold medalist Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron, brother of Zac Efron, actress Danielle Fishel from “Boy Meets World” and many more.
The full cast was announced last week on “Good Morning America.” The social media coverage revealed that Pentatonix member Scott Hoying, Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” comedian Andy Richter and TikTok star Alix Earle will join.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will continue to host the show for season 34 alongside judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
Gleb Savchenko, one of the most notable professional dancers in the past couple of years, is partnered up with Hilaria Baldwin, who is an author, and married to Alec Baldwin. They have seven children together and she has done a lot of networking for her family.
Another professional dancer Britt Stewart is with Baron Davis, who is a two-time NBA All-Star drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1999.

The pairings of professional dancers and celebrities for this upcoming season have garnered significant attention from fans.
Iconic professional dancer Jenna Johnson will be paired with Corey Feldman who rose to fame in the 1980s from roles in classic films such as “Stand by Me,” “The Goonies,” “The Lost Boys” and the 1990s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
Alan Bersten will be partnered with “The Parent Trap” actress Elaine Hendrix, who played Meredith Blake alongside Lindsey Lohan and Dennis Quaid.
Brandon Armstrong is dancing with singer Lauren Jauregui, who rose to fame as a member of Fifth Harmony.
Many fans are excited about pairings such as Rylee Arnold and Scott Hoying, Emma Slater and Andy Richter, Mark Ballas and Whitney Leavitt, Witney Carson and Robert Irwin, Pasha Pashkov and Danielle Fishel, Daniella Karagach and Dylan Efron, Val Chmerkovskiy and Alix Earle, Jan Ravnik and Jen Affleck and Ezra Sosa and Jordan Chiles.
This new cast, including some new dance professionals, such as Taylor Swift’s backup dancer Jan Ravnik, will join the DWTS family on ABC and Disney+ on Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
Fans on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram have pointed out the noticeable diversity in height and age among this season’s pairings, which is an aspect that might help reduce the chances of romantic affairs between partners, unlike in previous seasons.
Professional dancer Sasha Facher said there is no beef with why he left the show for this season. Sasha was dating Jenn Tran, from “The Bachelorette,” until they broke up in mid-2025. He spoke out about his absence from season 34 of DWTS, telling E! News he is “very grateful” for the support from his fans.
As the final spotlight fades, let us give a big round of applause to the new cast of DWTS season 34, premiering in less than one week.
