Women’s soccer wins, improves to 4-0

By Will Pembroke, Show Manager Xavier’s women’s soccer team moved to 4-0 on the season with two impressive victories last weekend over Murray State University and archrival University of Cincinnati. Last Thursday, the Musketeers outdueled UC 1-0 on their home turf. Athletics sign new deal with Nike

By: Nick McGill ~Sports Editor~ The Xavier University athletics department signed a new deal with Nike that blankets all sports. Since the 2001-02 season, Nike has covered the men’s basketball team. In 2010 the program’s status was newly listed at Nike NTS promo status. With the new deal, the partnership will cover all Division I sports. Nike will be the footwear and apparel provider for all 18 varsity sports on campus. This partnership provides a big name that is in support of Xavier athletics. Balancing basketball: priorities at Xavier

As I am writing, Xavier and the world around it are in a time of change. The leaves are falling from the trees, Ebola has reached our hemisphere and midterm elections just ended. While all of these are newsworthy, they are not what I would like to address today. Instead, I would like to talk about Xavier basketball.
