SAC to sponsor expanded shuttle service to Newport

By: Mike Clark ~Staff Writer~ Xavier will hold its fourth annual Luck on the Levee on March 13, giving students an alternative way to de-stress around this time of year. Luck on the Levee is an event organizers hope will provide Xavier students with an alternative activity around St. Patrick‚Äôs Day. From 6 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, all Xavier students will be given the opportunity to ride to or from Newport on the Levee at thirty-minute intervals. Campus Police enforce curfew in Cohen after security incident

By: Tatum Hunter ~Staff Writer~ Campus Police is increasing its efforts to enforce the hours of operation of the A.B. Cohen Center due to a recent safety concern. According to a report from Campus Police, two students reported witnessing a contracted employee viewing pornographic material on Jan. 30 in a Cohen Center computer lab. The students had waited approximately eight hours to contact Campus Police. The incident took place after 2 a.m., the time at which all students are supposed to be out of the building for the night.
