Now, Xavier is actively working to start a new chapter of the OIP at the university. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, also known as the Campus Safety Act, is a federal law that requires all college campuses to disclose information relating to crimes that occur on and around campus. Xavier Police, also commonly referred to as Campus Police, is the police force on campus. All Xavier Police officers are trained like any other Ohio police officer.
