Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, is being charged with three counts of first-degree murder for shooting his neighbors on Feb. 10. The victims have been identified as Deah Barakat, 23, his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, and her sister Razan Abu-Salha, 19. The three were found dead when police responded to reports of gunfire in the condo complex where they lived. By: Richard Meyer ~Copy Editor~ The number of reported cases of measles is set to surpass previous years in 2015 after an outbreak beginning in southern California. The outbreak, affecting more than 120 people, extends to 17 states across the nation, the most recent of which is Georgia. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began tracking the spread of the disease on Jan. 1 after there were reports of people having the disease after visiting Disneyland in southern California in December. Boko Haram translates as“Western education is forbidden,” and the group was founded in 2002, originally meant to oppose any form of Western education. The extremist group formed a military in 2009 in an attempt to become an Islamic State. The United States declared it a terrorist group in 2013.
