By: Julia Haber ~Staff Writer~ The Xavier track and field team opened up its outdoor season on Saturday in the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis. The men and women both had strong meets that left them with 22 top-10 performances. On the men’s side there were some top finishers in both running and field events. One standout performance was by senior Russell Platt, who finished first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.84. Platt also earned second place in the high jump with a height of 1.88 meters.
