Two tickets interested in becoming the next Student Government Association (SGA) executive officers announced their campaigns and began canvassing on Feb. 1. The winning ticket will serve a shortened term (April to December, 2015) after election reforms were announced for the 2015-16 school year. The Board of Elections and the Newswire will host a debate between the two tickets at 6 p.m. on Feb. 10 in Gallagher Student Center. Elections will take place on Feb. 12 and 13, and students can learn more about each ticket by attending campaigning events and visiting each ticket’s Facebook page.
