2014-15: Campus News in review

August 2014: U. station opens for students looking to live in high-end apartments located relatively close to campus. Today, students enjoy their own personal gym, pool and study areas, including storefronts such as Graeter’s, Starbucks and an All For One Xavier shop.

Fall 2014: Alter Hall undergoes demolition for reconstruction. Messer Construction plans on finishing the project before the start of the 2015 fall semester. A walkway is expected to open between the newly renovated Alter Hall and the McDonald Memorial Library.

April 18, 2015: Student outrage emerged as Xavier’s traditional Pig Roast was canceled due to concern about property damage. Despite the cancellation, proceeds of Pig Roast tickets sold went to The Dragonfly Foundation.
