Campus-Wide Renovations Continue

While the majority of the student body has been enjoying the summer wherever they call home, construction crews have been working tirelessly to make various improvements around campus. Besides the multimillion HUB project that will be opening on August 19, several other smaller restorations have been in progress, including the Mail Center and Clocktower Lounge. Here are some photo updates.

While the interior of the Xavier Mail Center got a remodel, the exterior of the building remains largely the same.

The main lobby of the mail center renovated and re-painted in Xavier blue and gray. This area will receive the most traffic, as it is where students will wait to drop off and pick up their mail.

Almost unrecognizable, this new area of the mail center is where employees will be able to sort and store the incoming mail and packages until they are picked up by students.

This additional desk in the back of the mail center is likely where mail from the USPS will be organized and documented.

Behind the main desk, one can see the storage for employees at the mail center as well as where students can drop off envelopes to be mailed.
